Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.

Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)

We are a dedicated group of parents, caregivers, and community members united in our commitment to making Leonay Public School the best possible place for every child.

Our Parents & Citizens (P&C) Association plays a crucial role in strengthening connections between families, staff, and the broader community. We strive to foster a positive and inclusive environment where all children can flourish.

By organising fundraising events and community activities, we help provide essential resources to the school, such as new technology, library books, and playground equipment. Additionally, we proudly manage the school’s uniform shop and canteen, ensuring their smooth operation and ongoing support for our school community.

P&C Meetings

The P&C meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm in the library or online via Zoom.

Everyone is welcome to join us.

Volunteer at Our School

Helping out at school is a great way to get involved in your school community.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• helping in the canteen
• getting involved in the P&C
• listening to children read in the classroom
• volunteering on sports days and other school events
• helping supervise excursions.
