Come as ‘Your Favourite Superhero Mufti Day’
Dear Parents/Caregivers
This term has been challenging for a lot of people in our school community and we have noticed it taking a toll on many of these people, including students. The Wellbeing Team are committed to ensuring that we end the term on a positive note to encourage students to enjoy their break and return back to school with an optimistic outlook. We would usually have Wellbeing Week in Term 2 and would like to keep this going. Therefore, we will be having a ‘themed’ Wellbeing Week in the last week of term beginning Monday 29 June and ending in a ‘dress as your favourite superhero’ (or any hero) mufti day.
When: Friday 3rd July (last day of term)
Why: To focus on the traits that ‘Superheroes’ possess, such as courage, standing up for others, confidence, resilience and asking for help.
What to wear: Your favourite superhero outfit. Remember ‘not all superheros wear capes!’ Please remember to wear closed in shoes.
Each day of this week there will be planned lessons and activities that focus on a different attribute of a hero. We will be communicating our themes and sharing photographs with you each day using class dojo so that you can continue conversations with your child at home.
